My future

typicalbrigett:

I don’t picture myself being successful as a psychologist. I can’t see myself taking any profession. I see myself with a minimum wage job at an art place or something. I’d probably be frowned upon by my mom, forcing me to stay with someone else, and I’d have made a room devoted to my art. I’d test my patience everyday, taking my time on getting the intricate details right. I would spend my days on one picture. Art would consume my everyday life. Practicing on napkins, sculpting out of dirt and water. And I’d be happy.

Monsters are real, and ghosts are real too. They live inside us, and sometimes, they win.

They say they want a girl who knows how to eat but the moment she’s overweight, it’s a wrap. Damn. Might as well ditch the front and just say you want a girl who has high metabolism.

I’d ask you what’s up, what’s new, but I’m pretty sure the answer’s nothing much.

I love old rock love songs and ballads

  • Everybody’s Somebody’s fool - Connie Francis
  • Travelin’ Man - Rick Nelson

In no particular order. I’m looking for more.

Imagine yourself walking through some wooden curtains, into the pleasant morning sun, at the sound of waves clashing against the beach, with birds chirping away. Paradise.

Wait No More | Jhene Aiko (2007)

nicvaldez:

The aggravation ‘mature’ people - who disregard opinions coming from the mouths of the young - give me is beyond calculation. Age does not measure maturity. Just because you’re older does not mean you’re wise. You probably are, to an extent, but that does not give you the reason to omit the principles of the ones younger than you. Their principles are just as significant as yours.

Always remember that to be considered mature you have to act it, think it, live it. A part of being an adult is being looked up to; beware of your actions for you are never too sure of whose life you’re influencing.
